Tamper Seals
Tamper seals are a cost-effective way to provide tamper evidence on your products. Printed heat-shrink tamper bands not only fulfill federal safety requirements, they also provide a way to reach consumers in the store with branding and messaging opportunities.
At Templock we can produce tamper seals in any size and specification. Our materials work with a wide range of containers and application methods.
Roll stock
Our roll stock tubing works with all major manufacturers of applicator equipment, ensuring easy integration and minimal down time on your production line. Roll stock tubing and application equipment provide an efficient way to apply tamper seals in a production environment.
Cut bands
To produce cut bands, we take our same high quality roll stock tubing and pre-cut it to create individual bands for hand application. These bands can be shrunk onto your container using a heat tunnel or heat gun. Ideal for in-house applications with small to medium size production runs.
Pre-forms are ideal for containers that are either cylindrical, lack a shoulder to stop the band, or have a long neck where a shorter tamper seal is desired. Pre-forms are cut bands that have been shaped, or pre-formed, for easier application. Sometimes referred to as open-top capsules, pre-forms can also provide a cost-effective alternative to regular capsules for tamper evidence.
Wine bottles, olive oils, and other similar specialty products benefit from this decorative type of tamper seal. Capsules can be produced in a variety of colors and printing options, including embossed foil lids.
Dome bags work for unusually shaped products, such as pump bottles. Dome bags are produced in a variety of shapes and sizes and can be printed with custom designs and text.
